AuraGateway Version 2 (AGWv2)

This version incorporates channel planning algorithms which assign frequencies to FDMA channels (both analog and digital), frequencies and time slots to TDMA channels, and frequencies and orthogonal codes to CDMA channels.

Building on the time slots and orthogonal codes, future expansions of the program will contain specific framing formats for TCP/IP, ATM, and other network packet protocols.

Yet, even as more sophisticated feature options are included, the fundamental design of the program is quite user friendly. AuraGateway can be quickly used for simple link budget analyses between two earth stations for example.

This comprehensive tool provides cost effective planning of satellite networks regardless of whether the number of earth stations is two (2) or two thousand (2000) or more.

For the user wanting a very quick analysis of a network, each earth station can be modeled as a generic antenna and low noise amplifier.

For the user wanting a very detailed analysis of each earth station, including the loading of custom antennas, and implementation of the earth station electronics from specific models of equipment, AuraGateway is ready to go.

The integral cost modeling allows the incorporation of Network Operations Centers (NOC), Training Facilities, Support Depots, etc. in addition to the costs of the Earth Stations and the Satellite Transponders.
