GPS Site Selection Support
|
In the site selection process, multiple sites have to be
considered due to a wide range of availability and acceptability variables.
AuraGateway provides a site logging tool that can be used by the site selection
team to stand on the site, press the Log Selected Site button, and have
the GPS enter the coordinates and the program calculate which satellites can be
viewed from that site. If the GPS does not function for any reason, a
manual entry of coordinates is supported.

| A review tab is provided to allow the
team to page back through prior site candidates, looking to see which satellites
were accessible from each of them.

For manual input of coordinates when the GPS is
not functional, a Manual Tab is provided. These coordinates
can also be the basis of manual look angle calculations.
